Victims of Popular Culture Print

I work out at an athletic club in Vegas, sometimes.  All the people look very serious.  I suppose I do too.  There are a lot of good looking people working out there and some strange ones.

One thing that I noticed in particular was that they have a woman's gym.  It's actually a separate room with machines and the usual workout stuff.  At first, I thought is was very unfair that women get to have their private gym that men aren't allowed to workout in.  I mean, I'm paying the same price for my membership as a woman, but I'm discriminated against, unequally.  I mean, I don't mind that I'm not allowed in the womens' locker room, because that is balanced by women not being allow into the men' locker room.  However, having a main gym where men and women can workout in, and then having an extra room where men are not allowed, is unfairly discriminatory.

It bothers me, but then I realized that they also have a daycare in the gym.  I'm not allowed to go play in the daycare center either.  That is also discriminatory, but I'm not paying for the daycare with my membership, because that is a pay service, so it is different.

Well, if I'm paying for the women only gym, then I'm going to make the best of it.  One day I stood outside of it and stared in for a long while.  I just glared at the women. . . . .

I haven't done that since.  I realized quickly what the true purpose of that room was . . .

It's where they allow the self incarceration, and quarantine of the most miserable victims of popular culture.

So, I passed my Real Estate Exam yesterday.  Today, I applied to the Nevada Real Estate Division to get my actual license.  What a pain in the ass.  I had to get a page notarized and assemble 6 documents and drive all over Las Vegas to get everything completed properly.  Between getting fingerprinted (don't even get me started on that), getting my real estate school certificate, my test results, the notarizing, the broker page, and paying with exact change, it was 100 miles of driving.  I'd say it's ridiculous, if this were America . . .

For Erik Stone a haiku called "Calhoun":

Wind is strong on lake,
Rig quick, boost high over waves,
Spread the stroke, Ride on!
