When a nude person walks down the street, and it can be claimed that is was a "traumuatic experience for nearby children," what terrible things does that say about our culture? If our children are traumatized by a nude person, then what does that say about that child's parents? What does it say about our culture when the majority of people are "traumatized" by the sight of a nude person? Are there really so few Americans that don't even understand the most basic of human conditions and freedoms?
No one that was there complained. No one was hurt. The government charged her with breaking the law. I guess that is the America I live in. An America, where everyone is unequally punished for doing nothing wrong. It's just so hard to believe that there are such huge numbers of people that are so privileged that they can afford to be so ignorant and destructive. I don't know why it's surprising; I guess I'm surrounded by this every day.
Do you understand why nudity laws are a ridiculous travesty, in America? Sure, in North Korea, it's totally reasonable to have nudity laws, and also to pray to God, Kim Jong Il, right? Or maybe I shouldn't be so uppity and think America should be different than Venezuela, or Cuba. I guess the America that I dream of, the one that stands for civil liberties or individual freedoms, or something, doesn't really exist. Sorry, I guess I'll get back to praying to Kim Jong; you too, by the way . . . . or else . . .
Thank you Erykah Badu! Thanks for standing up and doing something that so many don't have the courage to do, or don't have the intelligence or education to understand. Thanks for the video, it's awesome. |

Home Protection Service, in Las Vegas, is a scam. I worked for the company for 6 days, after a 3 day training. I didn't sell anyone, anything, because I figured out about the company, just in time. The supposed names of the managers were, "Roland Gilbert," "Tammy Mitchell," "Oliver Toliver." The owner of the company listed on the City of Las Vegas website, was Jeremiah Davis, who also showed up as the owner of two other companies with revoked business licenses, and one other company with an active license, Premier Mortgage Auditing, Inc.
At approximately 3:50pm, Feb 12th 2010, Las Vegas time:
I went into "work" to pick up my last paycheck, and brought my camera, in case this company tries to disappear and scam people again. I knocked on the office door, and before I could finishing clicking my first picture, "Roland Gilbert" and "Oliver Toliver," rushed me.
"Roland" stopped "Oliver" from attacking me, and then pushed me out of the room, trying to grab my camera. As I was pushed away, I backed away and tried to get a clear picture. At that point, I was assaulted by "Roland" who grabbed me by the shirt and neck, ripping my shirt, and pushing me up against the hallway wall.
I immediately started yelling, "Assault! Help!" He let me go, and shortly after, a couple of employees came out to see what was happening. As soon as I was released, I fled to the lobby and asked the secretaries to call 911. They refused, and said I had to call myself, which I did at exactly 4pm.
Just after speaking with police dispatch, the fire alarms went off in the building, because the two men, "Roland" and "Oliver" left though one of the emergency exits. I immediately ran to the back to the building and started filming their vehicle and license plate. "Roland" was wearing a wool trench coat and business attire, and "Oliver" was wearing business attire, with no coat at all. They both got into a Silver Dodge Durango, California license plate number 5BME978. It had a plastic license border that said "www.magicautocenter.com". It also had a circle-Obama campaign sticker between the license plate and the left turn signal housing.
The police came and I filed the assault report. I had a torn shirt and some red marks on my neck.
My guess is that these guys will disappear back to California, before the night is through, and they won't be heard from again. I can easily identify "Roland Gilbert" as I've spent many hours with him, and have pictures of him. Both I and the other employees could identify any of the three, if we saw them again.
My guess is that these people are wanted for other crimes.
I have since seen a short TV news program about Home Protection Service, but so far, no arrests have been made.
Please contact me with any questions you have if you are a victim or law enforcement agency.

I got back from Auckland, New Zealand about a week ago, and it was a great trip.
The Stratosphere Casino in Las Vegas is building the next Sky Jump thrill ride, which originated in New Zealand. There are currently three Sky Jumps in the world, and the one in Vegas will be the fourth, and the highest; 855 ft from the jump platform to the bottom.
Though I'm usually accustomed to living in a work location for at least 4 months, when my new employer offered to send me on a two week, all expenses paid work trip to New Zealand, I accepted. The training entailed working at about 630ft above the Auckland Skyline, and helping people safely jump off the SkyTower, the highest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere. To many that I've talked to, that's a bit freighting, to me, it is an almost perfect job to ease back into to Corporate America.
Our team of four, arrived in the morning after a 12 hour overnight flight from L.A.. We are all pretty tired, but we hit the Sky Tower about an hour and a half after arrival. We all did the Sky Jump first.
Everyone in our crew has a different background, but the looks on our faces weren't much different when our turn came and we looked over the edge. Walking out from the glass enclosure is the toughest part. Thinking about it. When the restraint is clipped to your back, and you start pacing out toward the edge, there is a particular feeling that arises, that goes along with a thought that is something like, "uh oh, this is it . . . "
At the edge, they clip in some extra stuff to your harness, and you hear, "Restraint clear!" All of a sudden, you don't feel so restrained anymore. Though they are holding you and you are still clipped in, you are free to walk to the edge and you don't feel any restraint. You are directed to grab the vertical posts on either side of you and to lean forward. It would be an understatement to say that I, and most others, grip those posts tightly.
After a three, two, one, go, countdown, you simply let go of the bars, and plummet at 40mph to the bottom.
Is it fun? Oh, yeah. |

I work out at an athletic club in Vegas, sometimes. All the people look very serious. I suppose I do too. There are a lot of good looking people working out there and some strange ones.
One thing that I noticed in particular was that they have a woman's gym. It's actually a separate room with machines and the usual workout stuff. At first, I thought is was very unfair that women get to have their private gym that men aren't allowed to workout in. I mean, I'm paying the same price for my membership as a woman, but I'm discriminated against, unequally. I mean, I don't mind that I'm not allowed in the womens' locker room, because that is balanced by women not being allow into the men' locker room. However, having a main gym where men and women can workout in, and then having an extra room where men are not allowed, is unfairly discriminatory.
It bothers me, but then I realized that they also have a daycare in the gym. I'm not allowed to go play in the daycare center either. That is also discriminatory, but I'm not paying for the daycare with my membership, because that is a pay service, so it is different.
Well, if I'm paying for the women only gym, then I'm going to make the best of it. One day I stood outside of it and stared in for a long while. I just glared at the women. . . . .
I haven't done that since. I realized quickly what the true purpose of that room was . . .
It's where they allow the self incarceration, and quarantine of the most miserable victims of popular culture. |
